Drawn by Hermann’s historic beauty and welcoming spirit, Mike and Chad found the perfect property to bring their dream to life. With passion and care, they opened Old Vine Bed & Breakfast, restoring the timeless tradition of true hospitality to the heart of the town they had come to love.

Chad’s lively, outgoing personality and background in customer service help create unforgettable stays for every guest. Mike, a former elementary school teacher with a love for fresh, local ingredients, brings the "farm-to-table" philosophy to breakfast each morning, serving up dishes crafted with care and community in mind.

Their dedication to Hermann runs deep: Chad was elected as Alderman, and together they own two beloved businesses — Old Vine Kitchen Emporium and Chapter 3 Bookstore — contributing to the vibrant local scene.
